Physical security is often a second thought when it comes to information security. Physical security must be implemented correctly to prevent attackers from gaining physical access to sensitive information. The strategies used to protect an organization or our national security begins with you. Access Control Specialists safeguard personnel, sensitive information, equipment, IT infrastructure, facilities and all other company and customer assets.
Your day will consist of identifying and reporting suspicious acts on or around the premises. When an Access Control Specialist does their job, it will create a safer and more efficient environment for everyone to succeed.
Here are a few types of backgrounds we’ve seen be successful in this role: You are a U.S. Citizen with a verifiable high school diploma AND A desire to work and make a difference. No work experience experience required.
You will play a critical role which influences all aspects of workplace security. By paying attention to everyone that visits a facility, you are the front line to eliminate risk. Your efforts will ensure all are able to not only work safely, but get home safely.
